How to Backup Android Phone

Backing up the data in Android Smart Phone is important for us, in case of the data get lost. Now Android also has the function similar to iOS devices, or even better. In iPhone, user can back up the data with iCloud, in Android smart phone, like Huawei, Xiaomi, there is also a cloud service, the data like Contacts, Messaging, Photos, Videos, Screenshots, Call log, Notes, Audio, Calendar and other information will be automatically uploaded or updated. You can see the data when you log in the cloud service with account and password. 

Aside from backing up with cloud service, you also can back up the data in phone or the inserted SD card. Now we take a Huawei smart phone as an example, you will know how to back up the data. 

Step 1.  Tap Settings app, navigate to Advanced settings, find Backup & reset, tap Data backup. Or you can a desktop icon named "Backup", you will see the following window:

Step 2. Tap "Backup", you will have five options to back up the data. You can store the backup in SD card, internal storage, USB storage, Huawei Cloud Service or Computer.

Step 3. We choose backing up the data to internal storage as an example. When you tap Internal storage, then tap next, you will be able to back up the data.

If you want to store the backup in your computer, you can choose Computer, then download HiSuite--the Android Smart Device Manager from www.huawei.com/hisuite and install it in your computer, connect your smart phone to computer with included USB cable line. You can manage the data of your phone with HiSuite.
